Hey folks, I've been messing around with some AI-powered coding environments lately and wanna know what you all think about the best options out there. Any favorites or tips on which ones actually boost productivity?

Sometimes I wonder if relying on AI for coding might make us lose touch with fundamentals over time.
I've been using one that integrates natural language prompts directly in the IDE. It's wild how you can just describe what you want and it generates code snippets.
The learning curve for some of these tools can be steep. Took me a while to get comfortable with the interface and features.
Sometimes the AI suggestions feel a bit off or like they’re trying too hard. Anyone else get that?
I prefer tools that integrate with my existing workflow instead of forcing me to switch everything up. So far, some AI IDE plugins are pretty decent.
Which AI IDE tools do you guys think are worth paying for? I tried some free ones but they felt limited.
I sometimes turn off AI suggestions when I want to focus and avoid distractions, anyone else do that?
Not sure if anyone else uses it, but you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. I found some neat stuff there recently.
I tried one that was supposed to help with debugging but it just gave me confusing suggestions. Anyone found a good AI debugger?
Do any of these AI coding tools support multiple programming languages well? I switch between a few and need flexibility.
I've tried a couple and honestly, the auto-completion features in some of these AI IDEs are a game changer. Makes coding so much faster.
Honestly, AI-assisted code completions are great for boilerplate, but I still prefer to write complex logic myself.
The integration of AI with version control is something I want to see improved. Merge conflicts and AI suggestions don't always mix well.
Has anyone tried using AI coding tools for learning new languages? Curious if it's helped you pick up skills faster.
For those worried about privacy, do you know if these AI IDEs keep your code safe? I’m kinda paranoid about sharing private stuff with cloud services.
Do you think AI in IDEs will replace junior developers? Kinda worried about job security.
I love how some AI tools suggest better ways to write functions I thought were already optimal.
