Anyone here used mobile apps for this? I’m looking for something on my phone that doesn’t suck.
It’s crazy how far AI has come. A few years ago this was so tedious to do manually.
I find that lighting in the original photo makes a huge difference in how well the AI can remove backgrounds.
Tried using Photoshop’s Select Subject but honestly, AI dedicated background removers do a better job these days.
Been messing with some open source tools too. Not as polished but good for free and offline use.
Anyone else tried tools that also change background color after removal? Looking for something versatile.
Sometimes the AI misses tiny parts or leaves weird halos around objects, anyone know a fix?
For bulk stuff, some AI services offer batch processing which is a total time saver if you got lots of pics.
I’ve been using a few AI background removers lately and honestly, some are way better than others. The ones that keep the edges smooth without making it look fake are rare!
I heard about some new AI tools popping up recently, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might be worth a shot.
Can’t recommend enough checking out remove.bg. It’s super quick and the quality is pretty decent for free use.
Does anyone know if these AI tools work well on images with shadows or reflections? I get bad cutouts when that happens.
