Hey folks, lately I've been wondering about how to tell if something was made by AI or a real person. There are some tools out there that claim to detect AI writing, but I'm not sure which ones actually work well. Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences with these tools!

Not sure if these tools work well on non-English texts though. Anyone got experience with that?
Are there any free reliable ones out there? Some of the advanced ones are pricey.
One thing I noticed is that these tools often get confused by creative or unusual writing styles too, not just AI stuff.
I think detecting AI content will become less important as AI writing gets more common and accepted.
Some educators are worried these tools might wrongly accuse students of cheating.
Anyone here use Turnitin's AI detection feature? Heard it's decent for academic stuff.
Sometimes I think the best way is just to check the style and flow yourself, not only rely on software.
I've tested some tools on my blog and they usually mark me as human but sometimes show low AI chances.
I just use multiple tools and if most say AI, then I start to get suspicious.
Does anyone know if these tools work on AI-generated images or just text?
I just hope these tools stay updated with new AI models. Otherwise, they become useless fast.
I found this site that reviews lots of AI detection tools. Some even show you the chance of AI involvement in a percentage.
I've tried a few of these detectors and honestly, most of them give mixed results. Some texts are flagged as AI even when they're totally human-written.
It's crazy how fast these AI detection tools have evolved in just a year or so.
Is there a way to fool these AI detectors?
Sometimes I think the AI detectors themselves are a bit biased towards certain writing styles or topics.
