Sometimes I just need a transcript for a short clip, so I try not to pay for big plans but it’s hard to find a good free option.
Anyone here use subtitles for accessibility and just found transcription tools super useful for that?
Anyone tried Google Docs voice typing? I sometimes play the video and let it transcribe live, works okay for quick stuff.
For those who want to do it all in one place, some video editors include transcription now too which saves time.
I’d love a tool that integrates with YouTube directly, so I don’t have to download the video or copy links all the time.
I use Descript for everything now. It’s a bit more than just transcription but the editing features are super handy too.
