I'm curious if ChatGPT can help me edit PowerPoint presentations directly. Can it make changes to slides, format text, or insert images? Or is it limited to providing text-based suggestions that I then manually apply in PowerPoint? Looking for advice on how to use ChatGPT effectively with PowerPoint files.

I usually use ChatGPT to generate slide text or speaker notes, then copy-paste into PowerPoint. It's great for brainstorming and creating content but not for direct editing.
ChatGPT itself can't directly edit PowerPoint files because it doesn't interact with file formats natively. However, you can paste text or slide content here, and it can help you rewrite or improve it. For actual file editing, tools or plugins that integrate AI with PowerPoint would be needed.
I tried using ChatGPT to rewrite my presentation text and it saved me hours. Even though I still had to format slides manually, the content was much better.
