Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out the easiest way to cancel my ChatGPT subscription on my Android phone through Google Play. It’s kinda confusing with all these different menus and options. Anyone got tips or a step-by-step to help out? Would appreciate it big time!

After canceling, you still get access until the subscription period ends, so you’re not losing it instantly.
Just a quick tip, you can also check your email for subscription confirmation and it usually has a link to manage or cancel directly.
Make sure you’re logged into the correct Google account when trying to cancel subscriptions, I messed that up and couldn’t find it.

I managed to cancel mine recently. You gotta open the Google Play app, then go to your subscriptions from the menu. Find ChatGPT and hit cancel. It’s pretty straightforward once you see it.
If you subscribed directly through OpenAI’s website instead of Google Play, you gotta cancel there, not on the phone settings. Different paths depending on how you signed up.
