Hey everyone, I've been playing around with ChatGPT and got curious about switching up the voice it uses. Anyone got any tips on the best way to change the voice settings or customize it? Would love to hear what you all think or any cool hacks!

I think the voice you get also depends on your region or language settings sometimes.
Sometimes the voice changes if you update the ChatGPT app, maybe try updating if you haven't?
For a quick fix, just use Google Translate's speak feature after copying ChatGPT's text, you can pick different voices there.
I've seen some tutorials where ppl use third-party tools to overlay their own voice or voices on top of ChatGPT's responses. Kinda cool if you want a unique voice.
I wonder if there's a way to create a custom voice profile for ChatGPT, like personalize it totally.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that sometimes offer cool voice stuff for ChatGPT. Found some neat options there.
From my experience, if you use ChatGPT in apps like Siri or Alexa that have their own voices, you get to use their voice settings.
Tried experimenting with voices using some online TTS websites by pasting ChatGPT text and they had loads of voices to choose.
I was wondering about this too! From what I gathered, the voice depends a lot on the platform you're using ChatGPT on like mobile apps or web. Some apps have voice options but not all.
I just wish it had some fun voice effects, like cartoon or deep voice options.
The voice sometimes sounds different depending on if you're using the free or paid version of ChatGPT? Anyone else notice that?
I use a third-party app that integrates ChatGPT and lets you pick from a bunch of voices, pretty cool.
Is there any way to change the voice speed as well? That would be cool.
Anyone tried changing the voice on the new Windows app? Not sure if it supports it yet.
Voice changing depends a lot on your device TTS, so check your phone or computer settings too.
I switched to a browser extension that reads out ChatGPT answers with different voices, works pretty well!
Honestly just using headphones with good sound quality makes the voice sound nicer to me.
Is there any voice that sounds less robotic? The default one kinda bugs me.
Sometimes using a different browser can change the voice a bit, browsers handle speech synthesis differently.
Honestly just hope they add more natural voice options soon, the default one is kinda robotic sometimes.
I think you gotta check if the app or service you use supports text-to-speech with different voices. ChatGPT itself is mostly text, so voice changes depend on the TTS engine behind it.
I tried messing with my phone's accessibility settings to change the voice, and it kinda worked for ChatGPT reading.
I hope someday ChatGPT has an official voice changer built-in, would be awesome feature.
My friend showed me how to link ChatGPT outputs to some TTS API that has loads of voices, a bit complicated but works.
