Remember to always run your work through a plagiarism checker, especially if you use any AI assistance.
Using AI to totally replace your writing? Nah, that’s plagiarism in my book. Use it to assist, not do all the work.
I think it depends on how you use it. If you just copy-paste everything and act like it's all yours, that feels kinda shady.
Just a heads up, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending AI tools that help with writing but keeping things original.
I wonder if using ChatGPT for brainstorming counts as plag? Seems less risky than straight up copying.
If you don’t cite it properly, it could definitely end up as plagiarism. It’s like any source, really.
Some people treat it like ghostwriting, which is definitely plagiarism if you present it as 100% your own work.
I read somewhere that schools are still figuring out rules about AI usage, so it’s kinda a gray area right now.
I think as long as you’re transparent about it and don’t claim AI’s work as your own, it’s okay.
I'm a teacher and I see a lot of students using ChatGPT. I always tell them to understand what it generates and make it their own.
Honestly, I’ve used ChatGPT to help with essays but always make sure to rewrite stuff so it’s original.
