I saw some videos showcasing these tools and honestly it’s kinda scary how easy it is to fake images now. Gonna make verifying stuff even harder.
Sometimes I wonder if the hype around these tools is more about shock value than actual usefulness.
Not really my cup of tea. I mean, if you want to edit photos, go for classic Photoshop or whatever. This stuff feels invasive.
The way these tools are marketed sometimes is kinda shady. Need to read the fine print about data usage.
I’m worried about consent. Like, what if someone uses this tech on pics of people who never agreed?
If you wanna explore AI tools in general, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending stuff. They’ve got a lot of categories including image editors.
I think education on digital literacy needs to catch up big time with these new tools.
Has anyone tried these tools for artistic purposes though? Like for creative photo manipulation? Could be interesting.
I think we should focus more on the ethical side rather than just the tech. People’s rights and dignity matter a lot.
For artists and creators, this tech can be a new tool but it should come with responsibility.
I tried messing with some apps that claim to do that kinda stuff. Results were mixed but when it works it’s kinda wild. Still, privacy concerns are huge here.
The tech behind this is fascinating for sure, but it also makes me think about how we define authenticity nowadays.
Some of these tools actually claim to use AI to alter images but sometimes the results look fake and kinda amusing. Not always realistic.
Thanks to everyone sharing their thoughts. This convo really opened my eyes to the different sides of this tech.
Honestly, it feels like stuff straight out of sci-fi movies. Didn’t expect to see this kind of tech so soon.
Would love to see some regulations on this tech soon. Feels like a Wild West at the moment.
Anyone know if these apps keep your photos? Privacy policies seem vague in some cases.
I read somewhere that these AI models sometimes get trained on questionable datasets which is kinda worrying.
I’m curious how this will affect social media in the next few years. Could change how we see photos.
Anyone here working with AI image tech professionally? Would love to hear your take!
Yeah, these AI tools have gotten crazy good lately. But I gotta say, stuff like that can really cross the line ethical-wise. It's kinda creepy how realistic some edits look.
Does anyone know if there are open source options for this kind of AI editing?
It’s kinda weird that we can fake almost anything now. Gotta keep a skeptical eye on what we see.
I’m mostly worried about how this tech can affect celebs and everyday people alike in negative ways.
There’s an argument that this tech could be used for fun pranks but the line is so thin between fun and harmful stuff.
