Curious About Claude AI's Creators

So basically, Claude AI was built by a group that split off from OpenAI to do things differently? Sounds like a fresh take.

Anyone knows if Claude AI is open for public use or just enterprise clients?

Is Claude AI like a competitor to GPT or something? I’m kinda lost on what makes it different or who’s running it.

I read somewhere that Anthropic was founded by Dario Amodei and his sister Daniela. They left OpenAI to start this new venture.

I think their approach to AI is more cautious, which I prefer. Better safe than sorry when it comes to these powerful models.
