I was worried it might be Chinese but looks like it’s not, so that’s a relief for me.
From what I gather, Claude AI is a US product, developed by a California company.
It’s def not Chinese, but it’s interesting how people assume that about every AI nowadays lol.
Lol people just assume everything AI comes from China now, but Claude is def not from there.
The AI space is global but origins still matter for understanding tech and policy implications.
I came across some discussion that confused Claude with another AI product from China, so that might be where it’s coming from.
I think it’s pretty clear that Claude AI is from a US company. No official ties to China at all.
Just wanna add that you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending AI tools. Might help keep track of stuff like this!
Not Chinese, it’s backed by some US investors and seems to be a product of US talent.
I think it's safe to say Claude AI is not Chinese. Anthropic is based in San Francisco, if that helps clear things up!
Can confirm, Claude AI has no Chinese ties that I’m aware of. US startup all the way!
Claude AI is built by Anthropic in the US, not China. Just wanted to clarify that for anyone confused.
Claude AI’s team is pretty transparent about their US base, so no surprises there.
I think the confusion is understandable, but it's definitely a US-based project.
I thought Claude AI was developed by Anthropic, which is a US-based company, so not sure where the Chinese rumor started.
I’m guessing the confusion might also come because a lot of AI research is global, so sometimes it’s hard to track origins clearly.
I think it’s clear Claude AI is not linked to China but is from the US startup scene.
I hope people don’t judge AI tools just based on country, but it’s good to know where they come from.
The confusion probably comes because people assume any advanced AI tech must be from China or the US, but Claude is def not Chinese.
I bet most people just don’t know the startup scene well and guess China because of bias.
Couldn’t find anything credible that links Claude AI to China, so probably just false rumors.
Claude AI is def a US product, developed by Anthropic, no Chinese connection that I know of.
I saw some posts wrongly saying Claude is Chinese, glad to see the truth getting out here.
I think it’s important to double-check info before spreading rumors about AI origins.
People should focus on what the AI can do rather than where it’s from imo.
I think people just mix up Claude with some Chinese AI models they heard about.
From what I read, Claude AI is a product of Anthropic, a startup founded by ex-OpenAI folks in the US.
