Honestly, I think any AI service that stores data even temporarily should be transparent about it. Claude could be better on that front.
I’m super paranoid so I avoid typing anything personal in any AI. Better safe than sorry!
I’m curious if any of you faced issues with data leaks or breaches with Claude AI?
I heard Claude AI uses encryption so even if they store data temporarily, it's pretty secure.
I was kinda worried about this too. From what I've read, Claude AI claims not to store your conversations permanently, but it's a bit vague on details.
I've used Claude AI for a while and noticed my data isn't used for ads or anything sketchy, so that's a plus in my book.
Can someone explain why AI tools even need to store data? Can't they just process and forget?
If you use Claude AI for work stuff, better double-check what kind of data they store. Could get tricky with sensitive info.
Would love it if Claude AI had a clear dashboard showing what data they keep and for how long.
Wait, so does Claude AI keep data if you create an account vs using it anonymously? Anyone know?
I tried their free version and noticed they don’t ask for much info upfront, which is a good sign.
Not sure if anyone mentioned, but you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools; they sometimes have privacy reviews too!
I read somewhere that Claude AI’s parent company puts a lot of effort into privacy, so I trust them more than some other AI bots.
Reading the terms of service is probably a good idea before using these AI tools. They usually mention data stuff there.
I think the best move is to just keep conversations generic and avoid sensitive info regardless of the tool you use.
I tried emailing support about data retention and got a reply saying they delete data after a short period unless you save it.
Honestly, the whole data privacy thing with AI is confusing. Wish there was a simple checklist for this.
Does anyone know if Claude AI complies with GDPR or similar privacy laws?
