You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might have better memory features or keep chat history in smarter ways.
Is there a way to export chat history? That would make remembering easier on the user side.
Sometimes it kinda feels like talking to a new person every time, which is weird but also fresh.
I think the current design is to keep AI stateless between sessions for user safety. It’s a tradeoff they decided on.
Does anyone know if the pro version has better memory or something?
In the same session tho, it does remember what you said earlier, right? Like it can refer back to your earlier questions?
Does anyone know if there are plans to develop memory features in future updates?
Is there any way to make it remember stuff between chats? Like plugins or something?
I think for now, the best bet is to keep your own logs if you want the AI to recall past info.
I kinda wish it could remember stuff from previous chats though, that would make things way easier sometimes!
Anyone else find it a bit annoying to repeat info each time you start a new chat?
Maybe in the future they’ll have an option to save context with user permission, that would be cool.
I read somewhere that for training purposes, the AI might learn from anonymized chats but that’s not the same as it remembering your specific talks.
I sometimes keep my own notes or copy past chats if I want the AI to remember stuff over time.
It would be cool if it could remember past conversations to build on previous info. But I guess that raises some big privacy questions.
From what I know, it doesn't actually remember past sessions once you close the chat. Each conversation starts from scratch, so it can't recall anything from before.
Would be interesting if they add a feature where you can opt in to save memory for longer chats.
I heard sometimes they use threads or accounts that save history, but that’s different from the AI itself remembering.
The way I see it, the AI is like a whiteboard that resets after each session. You gotta write the context again to keep things going.
