I think ChatGPT is a tool to assist, not a source of absolute truth. It helps a lot but should be used with critical thinking.
ChatGPT can sometimes make stuff up convincingly, so it's important to verify facts from trusted sources.
It's impressive how much it can answer, but sometimes it gives wrong or outdated answers, so it's good to double-check important stuff.
I've asked ChatGPT about some very recent events and it didn't know about them, so it's definitely not all-knowing.
Remember that ChatGPT doesn't have consciousness or personal knowledge. It predicts text based on patterns, so 'knowing' is different for it than for humans.
ChatGPT is incredibly knowledgeable but it doesn't know everything. Its knowledge is based on the data it was trained on, which has a cutoff date, so it might miss the latest info.
