I’m amazed at how well it can come up with poetry-like lyrics. But for actual tunes, you gotta look elsewhere.
Been playing with it to draft song concepts, pretty handy for overcoming blank page syndrome.
ChatGPT’s strength really shines in text generation, so music creation is more about using it as a helper than a composer.
I feel like ChatGPT is a great tool for lyric writing but not for actual music production or beats.
Not sure it can really create music like a human, but as an idea generator, it’s pretty sweet.
I tried using it for lyrics, and honestly, it gave me some pretty decent lines! Not a full song though, more like a starting point.
Honestly, it’s more like a songwriting assistant than a composer. Great for brainstorming, not for playing tunes.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that combine ChatGPT with music generation tech, really cool stuff there!
Tried it for rap verses, came out surprisingly good! Might not replace a pro artist but definitely a fun helper.
ChatGPT doesn’t really generate actual music files or tunes, it’s more about text. But you can pair it with other AI tools for music composition!
Anyone tried using ChatGPT with midi tools? I’m curious if you can turn text-based music ideas directly into playable sounds.
Some folks combine ChatGPT with AI music generators to get full tracks, but it’s definitely a multi-tool deal.
It’s funny cause I once asked it to write a song about pizza and it actually nailed the vibe! lol
Tried asking ChatGPT to compose a melody in text form, but it’s kinda limited to describing notes or scales, no actual sound output.
