If you log out manually it definitely forgets you next time, so try just closing the tab instead.
I keep forgetting my password so that’s the real pain point for me.
Try using a password manager like LastPass or 1Password. It auto-fills your credentials so you don’t have to type it in manually every time.
Logging in faster with saved credentials but wish there was a 'session forever' option!
Sometimes I just leave the tab open and it keeps me logged in for quite a while, but if you close it then yeah, you gotta log in again.
Clearing cache or cookies accidentally always messes up my login and I gotta sign back in. Annoying!
I switched to Edge browser recently and it seems to keep sessions better than Chrome for me.
I think using a trusted device helps too, as ChatGPT might keep sessions alive there longer.
Sometimes it feels like the site logs you out just for kicks lol.
Sometimes clearing cache of just ChatGPT site fixes weird login bugs.
Have you tried using browser profiles? That way your login stays separate and can persist longer.
Honestly, the app on my phone keeps me logged in so I don’t have this issue much.
I keep a note of my password so I can just copy paste fast when logging in again. Lazy but works.
I wish OpenAI offered a persistent login option that lasts a week or something.
Might be worth trying different browsers to see which handles login best for you.
I think this is one of those things where you gotta pick a method that fits your routine and stick with it.
I’ve started to use Chrome’s 'Continue where you left off' feature and it restores the session sometimes.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might help with logging in or session management. Found some neat stuff there.
Not sure if this helps but turning off VPN sometimes fixes login persistence issues for me.
I wish they had a 'remember me' checkbox on the login page. Would make life easier.
Yea, I hate having to type in my info every time. Wish there was a quicker way!
I’m hoping they add some kind of one-click access so we don’t have to do this dance every time.
Anyone tried browser autofill with multiple accounts? Does it actually help?
I use fingerprint login on mobile so it’s really quick, maybe try that if your device supports it.
Browser extensions that auto-login might work, but be careful about security risks.
I think ChatGPT is designed to log out after some time for security reasons. So there might not be a foolproof way to avoid logging in.
I think if you keep cookies enabled on your browser, it remembers your session longer so you don't have to enter stuff each time. Works most of the time for me.
Logging in quickly with saved passwords helped me a lot. Make sure you save it in browser settings.
Some users say using incognito mode makes it worse, so avoid that if you want to stay logged in.
