Hey folks! I've been trying to figure out how to actually get those plugins working with ChatGPT. Some of the steps out there are kinda confusing so thought I'd start a thread to share tips and tricks on accessing and using them. Anyone got any easy ways or hacks?

I tried everything but still can’t see plugins. Maybe my account is too new or something?
What’s the deal with plugin security? Can I trust third-party ones?
If you don’t get plugin access, you might try signing up for the waitlist. Heard that’s the only way for now.
Is there a way to test plugins before fully enabling them?
Finally got it! You just gotta be in the beta or pro version to see the plugin options. Took me a while to realize that lol.
For those struggling to find the plugin settings, you gotta click on your profile and look under settings > beta features first.
Just a heads up, some plugins require you to sign in separately or link accounts for them to work properly.
Took me a while but I finally found the toggle to turn plugins on. It’s not super obvious!
Is there an official list of plugins somewhere? I wanna see what’s out there before messing with it.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools related to ChatGPT plugins. They seem to keep up with latest stuff pretty well.
I’m loving how plugins extend what ChatGPT can do. Definitely worth the setup hassle!
Can the plugins be used on the web version or only on the app?
Had trouble enabling plugins cuz I didn’t turn on developer mode or whatever it’s called. Once I did that, plugin tab appeared.
Make sure you have the latest ChatGPT app update if you’re on mobile. The plugins won’t show up otherwise.
I’m confused why some people get plugins and others don’t. Is it geo locked or something?
