Also worth trying other AI proofreading tools too, just to see which fits your style best.
Been using it daily for proofreading texts and messages, saves me a ton of time!
It can help with punctuation stuff a lot, which is often overlooked by folks.
I love how easy it is to use, just paste your text and bam, suggestions appear.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna try other proofreading AI besides ChatGPT.
I think it’s improving fast, the more feedback people give it, the better it gets.
It can be slow sometimes depending on how long your text is. Not ideal if you need instant proofreading.
Sometimes it doesn’t catch repeated words or really subtle errors tho.
Does anyone know if it can proofread stuff with technical jargon? I’m worried it might mess up specialized terms.
I've used it a couple times and it helped me find some grammar slips I missed. Not perfect tho, still gotta give it a good read yourself.
Sometimes it misses obvious errors that a quick human scan would’ve caught. So don’t rely on it 100%.
It’s good for grammar and spelling but not so much for style or tone. You might still want a human editor for that.
Honestly, ChatGPT sometimes changes stuff that’s actually fine. So you gotta be careful and not accept everything blindly.
Not sure if I’d trust it with really important documents though. I mean, it’s AI after all.
I tried it on my essay and it fixed a lot of my run-on sentences. Pretty neat for quick proofreading.
It’s pretty cool how it explains why it suggests certain changes. Makes it easier to learn from mistakes.
I tried it on super casual texts and it kept making them sound too formal which was kinda annoying.
I find it really helpful for non-native speakers who might struggle with grammar nuances.
Does anyone know if it can handle proofreading in languages other than English?
