I've been exploring various code generation tools recently and came across OpenClaw, which is open source. Since Codex is a popular but proprietary model by OpenAI, I'm curious to know if OpenClaw provides a comparable experience for code generation tasks. Has anyone tried both and can share insights on performance, language support, ease of use, and community activity? Any thoughts on whether OpenClaw is a viable alternative?

I've used both Codex and OpenClaw for some of my projects. While OpenClaw is quite promising for an open source project, it doesn't quite match Codex in terms of accuracy and language comprehension yet. However, it's improving fast and being open source means you can adapt it to your needs.
