I'm considering whether our marketing team should self-host OpenClaw or use their cloud service. What are the pros and cons of self-hosting from a marketing perspective? Any insights on cost, maintenance, customization, and performance would be appreciated.

Performance can be optimized with self-hosting since you control the environment, but make sure your infrastructure can handle peak loads.
If your marketing team values quick deployment and minimal downtime, cloud might be better. Self-hosting adds complexity that might slow things down.
Keep in mind, self-hosting means your team or IT must handle security patches and backups, which could be a burden if resources are limited.
Cost-wise, cloud services usually have predictable monthly fees. Self-hosting might save money long-term but requires upfront investment in hardware and staff time.
From my experience, self-hosting OpenClaw can offer more control and customization which might be important if your marketing campaigns require specific integrations.
