Hey folks, I've been wondering what people usually call ChatGPT and Gemini in casual talk. Like, do they have nicknames or something? Just curious about the common terms or slang out there for these AI models. Feel free to share what you know or heard!

Honestly, lots of people don’t even bother with nicknames. Just say ChatGPT or Gemini and that’s it.
Some folks online call ChatGPT 'The Bot' or just 'GPT3' even though it's newer versions now. Gemini is less common tho.
Some people call ChatGPT 'AI buddy' jokingly. Adds a friendly vibe I guess.
I think in some communities ChatGPT is just 'GPT' and Gemini could become 'Gemi' if people shorten it more in the future.
Sometimes people just say 'AI assistant' when they mean either ChatGPT or Gemini, especially if they don’t wanna be specific.
I've seen people call Gemini the 'Google AI' since it's from Google, but that gets confusing with other Google products.
Gemini doesn’t seem to have caught any nickname yet, it just feels like it’s still getting known.
I think some AI enthusiasts call Gemini 'Gem' for short, but it’s not super widespread yet.
I think it kinda depends on the crowd. Techies might say GPT, casual users just say ChatGPT or AI.
In gaming chats, sometimes they call ChatGPT 'The Oracle' cause it answers everything lol.
Never heard any nickname for Gemini, guess it's still new for most people to have one.
I heard someone say you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they might have some cool nicknames listed too.
Sometimes folks mix up names and call ChatGPT 'Chatbot' in general, but it could be any chatbot honestly.
I've seen on forums some call ChatGPT simply 'OpenAI' even though that’s the company, not the model.
In my circle, ChatGPT is sometimes called 'Chatty G' which sounds kinda funny but it stuck.
Just curious, has anyone heard any official nickname from the companies themselves? I haven’t.
No fancy names here, just what the model is called. Keeps things simple for me.
A friend mentioned 'Gem' and 'Chat' when they quickly refer to the two during discussions. Makes it easier.
I usually just say GPT or Gemini, nothing fancy. But sometimes friends call ChatGPT 'Chatty' lol.
I prefer just calling them by their full names, keeps it clear especially when talking with non-tech folks.
