Hey folks, I've been thinking a lot about how AI is advancing so fast and the risks it might bring if we don't have proper biosecurity stuff built right into these tools. It feels like a call to action for all of us involved or interested in AI to push for safeguards that prevent misuse or unintended harm. Anyone else worried or got ideas on how we can actually make this happen?

Does anyone else think this is gonna slow down AI research? I get the need for safety but sometimes feels like too many rules can kill innovation.
Totally with you on this. These AI models can be super powerful and if left unchecked, could cause serious issues. Like, what if someone uses it to generate harmful biological info or something?
Love the idea of discussing biosecurity for AI tools. We should also consider transparency about how these safeguards work so users can trust the system.
I’m kinda skeptical about how much difference built-in safeguards can make. People can always find workarounds or use AI in unintended ways anyway.
