I'm trying to decide between investing my time and resources into GitHub Copilot for coding assistance or focusing on maintaining OpenClaw in my projects. I want to understand the pros and cons of each choice and how they might impact my productivity and code quality. Has anyone had experience with both? What would you recommend?

OpenClaw maintenance is more about ensuring the stability and reliability of the system in the long run. If your project depends heavily on OpenClaw, investing in its upkeep might save you from future headaches.
I've been using GitHub Copilot for the past year, and it has significantly sped up my coding process. However, it sometimes suggests code that isn't well-optimized or secure, so you still need to review everything carefully.
Is OpenClaw a custom tool or a third-party library? The maintenance effort could vary drastically depending on that.
If your project is already stable and OpenClaw is running smoothly, then investing in GitHub Copilot might be more beneficial to improve your development speed on new features.
From my experience, GitHub Copilot is great for rapid prototyping and learning new languages, but when it comes to critical systems like OpenClaw, you should prioritize thorough maintenance and understanding of the codebase.
