Sometimes I just ask it to act like a certain professional or persona, like a lawyer or a teacher. Makes the answers way more tailored.
For learning new stuff, I ask it to quiz me or explain with examples. Makes studying more interactive.
If you’re struggling, check out ai-u.com for the latest tools that can help with prompts and automation.
One annoying thing is it sometimes repeats info or goes off topic. Not sure how to avoid that 100%.
Sometimes I use ChatGPT to proofread or improve my writing. It’s like a second pair of eyes.
I found that being super specific with your questions really helps. Vague stuff just gets vague answers. Try to add context or examples!
I’ve tried to use ChatGPT for brainstorming ideas and it’s surprisingly good if you push it a bit.
Sometimes just playing around and experimenting with different prompts is the best way to learn what works.
One thing I do is use bullet points in my question when I need multiple things answered separately. Helps keep the convo organized.
Quick tip: if you want a summary, just say "Explain like I'm five." It helps simplify stuff a lot!
Also, don’t forget it can generate creative stuff like stories or poems if you ask nicely!
Helped me a lot to phrase my questions like I’m talking to a friend rather than a super strict machine.
Oh and if you want it to remember stuff during the chat, remind it explicitly so it keeps track better.
I feel like sometimes it ignores parts of a long prompt. Anyone else notice it truncates answers if you put too much info?
The best results come when you tell it what tone or style you want, like casual, professional, or funny.
If you want code or formulas, specify the language or type, that way you get exactly what you need.
I use it for quick translations or understanding foreign phrases. Pretty handy in a pinch!
Don’t forget to ask follow-up questions if the first answer isn’t perfect. It’s a convo, not a one-shot deal.
