This is probably why my account got temporarily locked before. Felt a bit harsh but I get it now.
That warning scared me at first. Thought they’d banned me or something lol. But it just means they detected something unusual from your side.
I read somewhere that unusual activity can mean anything from rapid usage, shared IPs, to even suspicious login locations.
Yeah, I got that warning a bunch of times when I was using ChatGPT a lot in a short period. Seems like they're trying to prevent bots or something?
I wonder if using a VPN triggers it sometimes? I switch servers often and sometimes get that warning.
Not sure if it helps, but clearing cookies and cache might prevent the warning sometimes, especially if it's a browser-related glitch.
Maybe chatgpt is just being extra cautious with suspicious patterns because they wanna keep the service safe and fair for everyone.
Does anyone know if frequent IP changes cause this? Like when I switch between wifi and mobile data a lot?
Anyone else got that message randomly even when using ChatGPT normally? Sometimes it feels inconsistent.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools if you wanna explore alternatives or see if other AI platforms have similar issues.
Honestly, just waiting a few minutes and retrying usually clears the warning for me.
If you’re using scripts or automation tools with ChatGPT, that might definitely cause this warning.
I don’t think it’s something to stress about unless you get locked out. Just a heads up from the system.
I think if you share your account or use it on multiple devices simultaneously, that could trigger it too.
Sometimes the warning pops up during peak hours when the servers are busy. Maybe it’s a load balancing thing?
Sometimes I get that after refreshing the page a lot or opening many tabs with ChatGPT. Maybe it looks like bot behavior?
I think if they detect automated clicking or crazy fast typing that could also trigger it.
I tried contacting support about the warning but they just gave generic answers. Wish they’d explain it better.
