Hey all, I've been wondering if there's a way to upload videos directly into ChatGPT for analysis or discussion? Been messing around but can't find any clear info. Anyone got tips or tricks?

Tried breaking down the video into screenshots and feeding those images to GPT-4 Vision, kinda works but not perfect.
Would be nice if ChatGPT could at least analyze short clips or gifs.
Just to add, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might handle video uploads better!
If anyone's found any hacks or workarounds, let us know!
If you want to share video content, sometimes just describing the key points or transcript helps ChatGPT understand what you mean.
The best thing now is to keep an eye on updates from OpenAI. They might add video stuff down the line.
I don't think ChatGPT supports video uploads atm, mostly text based. Kinda a bummer but maybe in future updates?
Tried uploading a video file but it just doesn't accept it. Looks like it only works with text input so far.
Maybe in a couple years we'll have seamless video chatbots. Can't wait!
Anyone tried using video captions or subtitles to feed info into ChatGPT?
Honestly, you'd be better off using specialized AI tools for video analysis. ChatGPT just isn't built for that.
I guess for now, videos remain off limits for ChatGPT users.
Is there any timeline or roadmap hint from OpenAI about video uploads?
A video upload feature would be awesome but I guess it's super complex to implement.
Would love to see ChatGPT handle video inputs, that'd be a game changer for content creators.
Honestly surprised video upload isn't a thing yet, seems like a natural step.
I think the main issue is that ChatGPT isn't designed for multimedia input besides text and images.
For now, I think the best bet is to convert videos to text or images and share that with ChatGPT.
Does anyone know if GPT-4 or other versions support video inputs? Or just images and text?
Maybe you can upload a video somewhere else and then share the transcript or main points here? That's how I handle it.
Anyone found any plugins or third-party apps that let you upload videos to ChatGPT?
I'm pretty sure ChatGPT doesn't have a video upload feature. Maybe in the future, but not now.
I just use transcription services and then feed the text to ChatGPT, works pretty well for me.
