Hey folks, I've been curious if ChatGPT can help with editing photos, like doing some Photoshop stuff. I know it's mostly for text, but wondering if anyone tried using it for photo tweaks or if it can suggest edits? Would love to hear your experiences or tips!

Does anyone know if ChatGPT integrates with Photoshop plugins? That would be cool if it could control edits via text commands.
Just to add, ChatGPT can help draft emails to clients about photo edits too, so not just creative tasks.
Would love a plugin that integrated ChatGPT directly into Photoshop for instant help!
Would be awesome if ChatGPT could generate Photoshop actions based on text prompts.
ChatGPT is great for explaining how Photoshop features work though. Like I didn’t get how layers worked until I had it explain in simple terms.
Sometimes I ask it for alternative software recommendations if I don’t have Photoshop. It’s pretty helpful for that!
Tbh, using chatbots for image edits feels a bit clunky since it can't see the image. You gotta describe everything super detailed for it to help.
Sometimes it suggests plugins or brushes I didn’t know about, which is cool.
Can’t wait till AI can fully edit photos from text commands, that’d be insane!
The best way I found is combining ChatGPT’s advice with manual work in Photoshop. Neither alone is perfect.
Using ChatGPT with Photoshop is more about getting creative ideas than actual editing.
I find it’s best to ask very specific questions when using ChatGPT for photo-related stuff, vague questions get vague answers.
I think ChatGPT is more about guiding you through edits rather than doing the actual heavy lifting on photos.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that do image editing with AI. That might be what you’re looking for.
If you want to automate edits, tools like DALL·E or Photoshop’s new AI filters might be better suited.
I asked ChatGPT how to mimic a vintage photo look and it gave me a great preset idea to try in Lightroom too.
Honestly, ChatGPT doesn't edit images directly. It's more for generating ideas or instructions you can follow in Photoshop or other apps.
I use ChatGPT to write captions for my edited photos, that’s one way it helps with photo projects.
Just remember ChatGPT doesn’t see your photos, so you gotta describe things clearly to get good help.
I wish it could actually modify images tho. That would be next level! For now, it's mostly just text stuff.
I tried asking ChatGPT how to remove a background and it gave me a solid step-by-step. Followed it and worked out well!
If you just want to fix small stuff fast, AI photo apps might be easier than Photoshop plus ChatGPT imo.
Tried asking it how to fix lighting on a photo and it gave me some decent tips to try in Photoshop manually. Not automatic but still useful.
Sometimes it even suggests color combos based on psychology that I wouldn’t think of for my edits.
