Honestly, just bookmark the ChatGPT site and use it on your Mac browser. Super simple and works fine for me.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they sometimes list Mac compatible AI apps including some ChatGPT wrappers.
Also, the browser version on Mac lets you do all the same stuff as on other devices, no feature loss as far as I can tell.
I heard you can use some macOS shortcuts or scripts to open ChatGPT faster. Anyone know how?
Just FYI, some third-party apps claiming to be ChatGPT clients for Mac might have privacy issues, so be cautious.
No official Mac app from OpenAI yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they release one considering the demand.
Been using ChatGPT on Mac via browser, but it would be cool if Apple integrated something like this into macOS natively someday.
Some folks use it through the Terminal with API access but that’s a bit more advanced and requires coding skills.
Yup, you can totally use ChatGPT on a Mac, mostly through the browser though. No official app yet but it works smooth on Safari or Chrome.
I use ChatGPT via Safari on my Mac all the time. No issues at all, honestly feels seamless.
If you want a more app-like experience, some people wrap the website in a macOS app container, like with Fluid or similar tools.
