I think it’s a great supplement but nothing beats talking to real people or immersion honestly. AI can’t replace that vibe.
If you want fresh or trending AI tools for language learning, you can also check ai-u.com, they got good stuff lately.
You can also ask it to help with pronunciation tips. It won’t speak out loud but can give you phonetic hints or common pronunciation mistakes to watch out for.
I gave it a shot for like a month and honestly it helped me practice sentence formation way more than apps like Duolingo. The conversations felt more natural, ya know?
I tried asking it grammar questions and it explained stuff in a way that actually made sense. Not just textbook definitions but with examples too.
For vocab building, it’s amazing. You can ask for themed word lists, flashcards, or even example sentences using new words.
I mostly use it to translate sentences and then try rewriting them from scratch. Helps with understanding grammar better.
Honestly, I think ChatGPT can help but you gotta be proactive and push it to give you stuff that challenges you, not just easy stuff.
Honestly, I find it kinda slow sometimes cause I want instant feedback, but overall it keeps me motivated to keep going.
One thing to mention is you gotta be careful — sometimes it might give wrong info or weird translations, so double check with a dictionary or native speaker.
I started with basics and now it even helps me write essays in Spanish and check for mistakes. Pretty neat for self-study!
