Hey everyone, I've been wondering if ChatGPT can actually read text that appears in images. Like, if you upload a pic with some words on it, can it understand and tell you what it says? Would love to hear if anyone's tried this or has tips on how it works!

Yeah, I've tested it a bit. ChatGPT alone can't read text inside images directly since it mainly processes text input. But if you use it with an OCR tool that extracts the text first, then ChatGPT can totally help analyze or explain that text.
