You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. Some of those have less strict filtering and might suit what you're looking for.
Honestly, I think they made the filter to keep things safe and legal. I don't blame them, even if it sometimes blocks legit questions.
Sometimes just rephrasing your question gets around the filter without breaking any rules or needing to turn it off.
Anyone else feel like the filter actually improves the chat sometimes by stopping troll or spammy stuff? Not all bad imo.
Wish there was an official way to customize filter settings per user. That would be awesome!
Would be cool if there was an 'uncensored mode' for users who want it, but I guess that opens a big can of worms.
If you're super tech-savvy, you might explore open source models without filters, but ChatGPT itself always has some limits.
Sometimes it feels like the filter is way too sensitive. Like it blocks harmless stuff just cuz of certain keywords.
I tried asking ChatGPT directly how to turn off filtering and it just politely refused to help haha.
I've been digging around but honestly, there isn't a legit way to just 'turn off' the filter. It's kinda baked into the system for safety reasons.
I heard about some users tweaking browser extensions or scripts to bypass filters, but that sounds risky and maybe against terms?
Some people say you can kinda bypass filters by using certain phrases or code words but that sounds shady and could get your account flagged.
At the end of the day, ChatGPT is designed for general use, so it has to keep some limits. Maybe other platforms have less filtering?
