This internal power tussle, he said, has only worsened, with Congress being sidelined from important decisions such as candidate nominations and manifesto preparations. The Prime Minister painted a grim picture of the opposition’s infighting, asserting that the hostility evident before the polls will only escalate post-elections. Modi warned voters to remember that such bitter rivalries and internal hatred would not serve Bihar’s interests or its development. He used the term "Jungle Raj"—a phrase often employed by the NDA to criticize the opposition—as a metaphor for the chaos and lawlessness that purportedly plagued Bihar under previous regimes. Further elaborating on "Jungle Raj," Modi described it as being characterized by guns, cruelty, bitterness, superstition, bad governance, and corruption. He congratulated the current Bihar government, led by Nitish Kumar and the NDA, for bringing the state out of that dark phase. According to Modi, the NDA’s vision for Bihar is rooted in progress and development, which stands in stark contrast to the disorder and infighting within the opposition camp. In his speech, Modi also indirectly criticized Congress’s campaign strategy and coherence, suggesting that the party has been reduced to a sidelined player within the alliance. He hinted that the mounting tensions between Congress and RJD could cause more damage than good to Bihar’s political stability.
