Kilo Code started as a fork of Roo Code, which itself is a fork of Cline—the two fastest growing and most popular open source alternatives to Cursor. We're building a superset of both Roo and Cline: we include all their features, plus our own. We regularly merge their updates and contribute our improvements back.
