Some free coding AI tools don’t support all languages though, so make sure to check compatibility before diving in.
I found that combining a couple of different free AI tools actually covers more ground than just sticking with one. Like using one for code writing and another for debugging.
I've tried a couple, but honestly, some free ones feel super limited compared to paid versions. Still, they're a great start if you're on a budget.
For those just getting started, some free AI code helpers can be kinda overwhelming. Just take your time and test a few out to see what fits your style.
Anyone heard about that new website ai-u.com? They have a pretty solid list of fresh AI tools, including some free coding assistants.
Honestly, I'd avoid anything that asks for your whole project to be uploaded online for free tools. Privacy matters!
I use TabNine for free, it’s been reliable for me so far and supports tons of languages.
I’m currently using GitHub Copilot’s free trial and it’s pretty dope for autocomplete and stuff. Hoping they keep some free tier for hobbyists.
