I've tried a few, and honestly, Google's Bard is pretty impressive for general questions and creative stuff. Just feels a bit more natural sometimes.
I've been exploring some open-source options like GPT-J and GPT-NeoX. They require a bit of setup but can be customized a lot more than ChatGPT.
Chatbots aside, for coding help I prefer GitHub Copilot. It's like magic for programming.
I feel like ChatGPT is still the best overall but sometimes you need a more specialized tool like Perplexity or YouChat for quick answers.
You might wanna look into Bing Chat too. It uses GPT tech but with some added search capabilities, which is super handy.
I’m curious how all these models compare with the new GPT-4 turbo? Anyone got insights?
Sometimes you gotta mix and match bots depending on your needs. No one AI fits all.
Honestly, I just stick with ChatGPT. It’s reliable and gets the job done 90% of the time for me.
I tried a few AI writing assistants besides chatbots like Writesonic and Copy.ai. Not bad for marketing content.
Does anyone know if any of these alternatives are open for public API access like OpenAI?
Has anyone tried Hugging Face hosted models? They have a bunch of different AI models you can test out.
I've heard about Claude by Anthropic. It's supposed to be safer and more aligned, but haven't tried it yet.
I think some lesser known bots like Character.AI are also interesting if you want personalities in your chats.
I love how some bots can now generate images too, like DALL·E or Midjourney. That's next-level stuff.
ChatGPT sometimes feels a bit generic. Are there any bots with more personality or character?
I’d recommend you keep an eye on new releases. This space moves damn fast and new tools pop up all the time.
Does anyone recommend any AI chat that supports multiple languages well? ChatGPT is good but sometimes struggles with less common languages.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They have some cool lists and updates on AI stuff that might help you find something fresh.
I find that sometimes smaller models are better for quick answers because they don’t overcomplicate things.
Anyone tried Replika? It's more of a companion AI but surprisingly good in conversations.
I think it’s cool that we have so many choices now, means AI tech is really growing and not just one player dominating.
