Hey everyone, I've been looking into different software options to help law firms keep track of their cases more efficiently. There seems to be a bunch of tools out there, but I'm wondering which ones actually make a difference day-to-day. Anyone here got experience with this kinda stuff? Would love to hear some honest opinions or recommendations!

Does anyone know if these tools support integration with existing billing software? That’s kinda make or break for us.
We switched to MyCase last year and it's been a game changer. The client portal feature is super handy for communication and keeps everything organized.
I've used Clio for a while now and it really streamlines case tracking and documents. The interface is pretty intuitive too, which helps a lot when training new staff.
Security should be top priority. You’re handling sensitive info, so whatever you pick needs solid encryption and backup.
I recommend looking for software that has a strong mobile app. Being on the go is common for lawyers, and some apps just aren’t great on phones or tablets.
Pricing can be all over the place. Make sure to check for hidden fees like extra users or storage costs.
I've been testing out some newer AI-powered platforms, and they're pretty impressive for organizing case documents and even predicting deadlines based on your court calendar.
Does anyone use open-source options? I’m curious if they’re viable or just too much hassle to maintain.
One thing I’d add is check how good their customer support is. When stuff breaks, you want someone who actually helps quick.
Some platforms offer trial periods. I’d suggest testing them with your team before fully switching over.
I love how some new tools can automatically generate documents based on case info. Saves hours!
Honestly, sometimes simpler is better. We tried fancy AI stuff but our team preferred a straightforward case list with reminders.
Anyone tried PracticePanther? Curious if it’s worth the hype or just another pricey option.
