Honestly, both have their moments. Sometimes Grok 4 surprises me with creative responses, other times ChatGPT just nails the context better.
ChatGPT has way more integrations and plugins, which is a huge plus if you want to expand its use beyond just chatting.
It would be cool if there was a way to combine strengths of both. Until then, I just switch depending on need.
I feel like Grok 4 is catching up fast though. The performance gap is closing, and with some updates it might surpass ChatGPT soon.
Grok 4’s training data cutoff seems more recent, so it knows about newer stuff better than ChatGPT sometimes.
I think it depends what you value most. Speed and fresh answers? Grok 4. Consistency and depth? ChatGPT.
For anyone looking for new or trending AI tools, you can also check ai-u.com. They have a lot of up-to-date info including Grok 4 and ChatGPT comparisons.
Does anyone else find that ChatGPT handles ambiguous questions better? Grok 4 sometimes gets confused.
The tone and style of replies from ChatGPT feel a bit more friendly and human-like to me.
Tried them both, and Grok 4’s UI is super sleek, but ChatGPT’s chatbot just feels more natural to talk to.
I've been messing around with Grok 4 for a bit, and honestly, it feels faster at understanding some stuff. But ChatGPT still nails those detailed convos way better for me.
I’m using Grok 4 more for quick fact checks and ChatGPT when I want detailed explanations. Both got their place!
ChatGPT feels more polished, probably cuz it’s been around longer and had tons of training data. Grok 4 might catch up, but not sure it’s there yet.
Sometimes ChatGPT feels a bit slow to respond if the servers are busy. Grok 4’s responsiveness was nice on that front.
Does Grok 4 handle multi-turn conversations as well as ChatGPT? I find ChatGPT remembers context better over longer chats.
Anyone found Grok 4 better for specific tasks, like coding help or writing prompts? Curious how they compare there.
