I’m new to AI tools and kinda overwhelmed lol. So many options and I don’t even know where to start!

From my experience, there are a bunch of categories too. Like AI for marketing, for education, for personal productivity, etc. Each category has tons of tools.

Honestly, it's kinda crazy how many there are. I lost track after like 50 or something lol. New ones popping up every week.

I think the hype around AI tools sometimes makes people expect miracles. They’re useful but still have limits.

Does anyone know if there’s a place that tries to catalog all AI tools? Like a database or something?

I tried looking it up once and there was no definitive list. So many developers are creating AI stuff nowadays, it's impossible to count.

I think the numbers are always changing but if you want a ballpark figure, I've seen estimates that there are over 1000 AI tools out there now.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by all the options and just stick to the few tools I know well.
