Replika is another AI chat app but it's more focused on emotional support and being a companion than just general info.
I’ve heard about AI Dungeon too, which uses GPT to create text adventures. Not exactly a chatbot but kinda a fun twist on AI convos.
Would love if there was a simple comparison chart somewhere that showed strengths and weaknesses of all these AI chatbots.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools, they list a bunch of AI chatbots and stuff that aren’t as well known yet.
There's also Claude from Anthropic. Heard it's designed to be more ethical and less likely to say weird stuff. Anyone used it?
I've been using GPT-4 from OpenAI mostly, but lately tried out Google's Bard. It's quite interesting and sometimes feels a bit more creative in its responses!
Been messing with YouChat too, it’s integrated with a search engine and tries to be more concise than ChatGPT.
You might also wanna check out Bing Chat. It's powered by similar tech as ChatGPT but integrated with search, so it can pull in fresh info.
Has anyone tried the newer open-source bots like Mistral? Heard good things about their speed and accuracy.
If you're into open source, you can check out LLaMA models from Meta or GPT-J which you can run locally if you've got a beefy PC.
Honestly, ChatGPT still feels like the most versatile and user-friendly for everyday stuff.
Wonder if any AI chatbots will get better at understanding slang and regional dialects soon. Sometimes ChatGPT misses the mark there.
Some people swear by Jasper for marketing writing. It's AI but more targeted for content creation than chatting.
The variety of AI chatbots now is kinda overwhelming. Anyone have a go-to favorite besides the big names?
I’m curious if any of these bots do a better job at multi-turn conversations and remembering context over longer chats? ChatGPT is decent but sometimes loses track.
Some smaller startups are launching niche AI chatbots focused on things like mental health or coding help. Interesting to see the variety growing.
