Just a heads up, detection tools are improving but none are 100% accurate yet, so keep that in mind if you’re using these for important stuff.
Sometimes it’s better to look at writing patterns manually, like sudden changes in style or weird phrasing, especially if the tool flags something but you’re unsure.
Free detection tools are great for beginners but if you’re serious, investing in a paid option might save you headaches later.
Has anyone used Grammarly’s tone detector? Wonder if it helps spot AI writing or just style.
I’m curious if any free tools catch AI-generated images as well? Or is that a whole different game?
For anyone interested in the latest free tools, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending detection apps. They have a cool roundup updated often.
Anyone else annoyed by false positives from these free AI spotters? Sometimes they act like everything’s bot-written lol.
I've tried a couple of free ones like OpenAI's classifier but honestly, they can be hit or miss sometimes. It’s tricky to get perfect results without paying for better stuff.
You might wanna check out some browser extensions too. Some are free and they do a decent job scanning text on the fly.
