I think it’s good to remember that the AI doesn’t have feelings or beliefs, so any bias is indirect through the data and design.
I think users also bring their own biases into the convo, so what feels biased could be just a mismatch of expectations.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They sometimes have better ways to handle bias in similar AIs.
Why do you think it matters so much if ChatGPT is biased? Isn't it just a tool?
I've read that OpenAI works hard to fix these issues, but it's impossible to make something completely unbiased.
Sometimes the bot just avoids answering certain stuff, which can seem like bias, but maybe it’s just being careful.
Honestly, I think the question is how bias is defined here. There’s cultural stuff, political views, even language nuances that make it tricky.
I feel like some biases creep in because the developers try to avoid controversial or dangerous outputs, so that skews responses too.
Totally agree, sometimes it feels like it's pushing certain opinions more than others. Maybe cuz it learns from the internet, which isn't exactly neutral.
People forget that ChatGPT doesn’t have opinions, it just predicts text based on patterns. So bias is about the data it was trained on, not its own views.
I think some bias is unavoidable, but they've been trying to reduce it a lot. Still, sometimes the AI just picks the most common perspective, which might feel biased.
