I think for creative assignments like writing stories or poems, AI can spark ideas but you gotta add your own touch.
I use it mostly for language practice and it’s helped me improve a lot!
I worry using AI tools too much might mess with my own learning progress. Like, what if I get lazy?
I tried using it for my math homework once, it actually helped me figure out the steps instead of just giving me the answer straight up.
The biggest thing is to not let it do all the work for you. Use it like a tutor, not a robot doing your homework.
Sometimes ChatGPT misses the mark or gives outdated info, so double-checking is a must!
Wouldn’t recommend using it for tests or quizzes tho, that’s crossing a line.
Sometimes it feels like cheating, but I guess it depends on the intention behind using it.
I heard some teachers are ok with it as long as you mention you used it for ideas or drafts.
Honestly I think it’s just another tool in the toolbox now. Like calculators or spell checkers, just gotta use it right.
Not every subject fits though, like some arts or hands-on classes might not benefit much.
Not sure if I trust it fully though, sometimes the answers sound too perfect or generic.
I’ve found that explaining what ChatGPT gave me to someone else helps me understand better.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might help with homework in different ways.
Honestly, it saved me tons of time on research. Instead of googling tons of stuff, I get summaries fast.
Sometimes it’s just fun to see how it responds to weird questions, not just homework stuff.
Honestly, I think it depends on how you use it. If you just copy answers, you're not really learning. But if you use it to understand concepts better, it can be super helpful.
