Honestly, I tried searching for free trials but most are just short and then you gotta pay up. No real way to get it free permanently afaik.
If you’re a student, sometimes just reaching out to OpenAI support explaining your situation might get you a discount or something? Worth a shot!
FYI, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might have free access options or trials for students.
I just use the free version and it’s honestly enough for most stuff. Plus upgrades are nice but not a must-have for students imo.
Has anyone tried using VPNs or region tricks to get cheaper or free access? Heard some countries might have promos.
I think OpenAI doesn't officially offer free Plus for students, but sometimes universities partner up for discounts. Maybe check with your school?
Some say sharing accounts is an option but honestly that's kinda risky and could get you banned. Not worth it imo.
You might wanna look into community scholarships or contests that sometimes give free subscriptions as prizes.
