I managed to get it running offline by downloading the HTML and JS files from the repo, but it’s kinda techy and not super user-friendly for most people.
For folks interested in AI tools like this, you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools. They sometimes have links to downloads or usage tips.
I’d recommend just bookmarking the site honestly. The canvas updates all the time, so downloading might leave you with outdated stuff.
I tried searching on the official site, but it wasn’t super clear if there’s a direct download or if it’s just web-based. Anyone got a direct link or something?
Is it even possible to download the canvas for offline use? I always see people just opening it in browser and calling it good enough.
I downloaded a Chrome extension that basically wraps ChatGPT canvas. Not exactly the same but gets the job done for quick access.
