I try to phrase follow-up questions that challenge its previous answers. It helps catch inconsistencies or errors.
Also, updating the model with the latest info would help. A lot of times it’s stuck on old data and that messes things up.
I find it helps to not rely on it for critical info and just use it as a brainstorming buddy instead.
Honestly, sometimes you just gotta accept it’s gonna hallucinate a bit. No AI is perfect yet, so just use it with caution.
Honestly, I just double-check everything it says now. It’s kinda annoying but better safe than sorry. Sometimes it sounds super confident but just makes stuff up.
One trick is to ask it to think step-by-step before answering. It sometimes catches itself and avoids mistakes that way.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might help with verifying AI responses or improving accuracy.
I’ve found that being super specific with your questions helps reduce the weird answers. Vague prompts seem to confuse it more.
Sometimes the lying might just be it guessing when it doesn’t know. Better if they let it say 'idk' more often instead of making stuff up.
