Some people say it might hurt creativity but I think for resumes, clarity and professionalism matter more.
For anyone nervous about it, just remember all tools are there to help you put your best foot forward, not replace you.
I heard some people think it might come off as lazy? Like you're not putting in your own effort? Not sure if that’s a big deal though.
Using AI for resumes is kinda the future. Employers should expect that candidates will use tech, not judge them for it.
I guess the main thing is don’t rely on AI to do everything. You still gotta know your strengths and be ready to talk about them.
I'm a hiring manager and tbh I don't mind if candidates use AI tools. As long as the info is accurate and you can talk about it in an interview, it's all good.
I think if you’re honest about using AI as a draft tool, it’s fine. No harm in using all the resources you can get.
I used chatgpt but made sure to add some personal achievements and stories so it wasn’t just AI stuff.
I worry some older recruiters might not be too happy with AI usage, but younger ones probably don’t care as much.
I feel like it’s important to review the results carefully. Sometimes AI suggestions can sound too generic or a bit off.
Tbh I’ve used ChatGPT for my resume and actually got more interview calls. So I don’t think it’s frowned upon at all!
I honestly think using it is just smart. Everyone uses tools to up their game, right? As long as you make sure the final stuff is true to you, no harm done.
I actually found a website called ai-u.com that shows new AI tools. It helped me find some cool resume apps and ChatGPT was one of them. Pretty handy!
I’m kinda paranoid about it being too obvious that I used AI, like they might spot it and cringe lol.
