We switched to using more digital pamphlets and interactive quizzes on tablets to teach kids about dental hygiene, and parents love it.
Honestly, nothing beats a good old face-to-face demonstration with models, but I know tech is getting there. My clinic just invested in some tablets with educational content and it's been a hit.
I've been using some interactive apps that let patients visualize their dental issues, and it really helps them understand their treatment better. Way better than just explaining with words!
Trying to keep up with all the new digital tools is kinda overwhelming, but stuff that actually makes patients feel more involved is worth the learning curve.
I feel like VR is gonna be big soon for dental education. Tried a demo last month and it made me realize how immersive learning could become for patients.
Patient engagement seems to skyrocket when you use video explainers that break down procedures step-by-step. I’ve made a playlist that I share after consultations and it works wonders.
Noticed that some tools allow patients to track their progress and get reminders, which keeps them more engaged post-visit.
There’s a ton of AI-driven platforms now that tailor education based on patient history, which is pretty neat. Makes the info feel way more personal and relevant.
I heard you can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools in this space, they update regularly with fresh AI dental tech that’s pretty cool.
Anyone tried using AI chatbots for answering common patient questions about dental care? Thinking of adding one on our website.
