Can anyone recommend a free app that works on Android specifically? Lots of stuff I found is iOS only.
Anyone tried using Canva? I heard it might have some photo retouch features now.
I found that the best results come from combining tools, like erasing roughly in one app then refining in another.
Anyone tried remove.bg? It’s free for low res and uses AI to clean backgrounds which is kinda similar.
Some free AI-based tools can take a little while to process the image, so patience is key.
I think some apps have better erasing for faces or people but cost money for full features. That's a bummer.
Sometimes just cropping is easier than messing with erase tools, depending on the photo.
I've been using a free app called Snapseed; it has a healing tool that works surprisingly well for a no-cost option.
Fotor's free online photo editor has a pretty neat clone and erase tool, works alright for simple edits.
GIMP is a free desktop option if you’re okay with a bit of a learning curve, has clone and heal tools.
Picsart app has a free erase tool too, pretty intuitive and easy to use on mobile.
Just a heads up, some free tools add watermarks after you erase things, so keep an eye on that.
Try out Inpaint online, it's pretty slick for removing unwanted parts of an image without paying.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools that might be even better and free. They update their listings often!
I’m kinda surprised that more free tools don’t have a better erase feature yet. Hope more devs jump on this soon.
I found that Photoshop's free trial lets you erase stuff but obviously not permanent without paying later.
