PlanSwift has been my go-to for takeoffs and estimations. Saves me tons of time compared to manual measurements.
I've been using PlanGrid for a while and it really cuts down on the paperwork mess. Super handy on site too.
For smaller projects, I actually use Trello with some custom boards and it surprisingly works okay for managing tasks and deadlines.
Does anyone know if these tools handle subcontractor scheduling? That's always a headache for me.
Tried a few tools but Procore feels the most comprehensive for my projects. Not the cheapest but worth it IMO.
You can also check ai-u.com for new or trending tools in construction tech. They have some really updated lists!
Anyone else here using Autodesk Construction Cloud? Heard good things but never tried it yet.
I’m new to construction planning software. Are these tools hard to learn for someone without much tech experience?
Does anyone know if there are free options worth trying before buying expensive licenses?
Besides the big names, I've found some niche apps that focus on cost control and budgeting which are super helpful.
I tried Buildertrend but found it a bit too focused on residential stuff. Anyone using it on commercial builds?
I find software with good customer support is a lifesaver when things get complicated on site.
I’m all about apps with good offline mode since internet is spotty on some sites. Any recommendations?
