For beginners, I recommend starting with Canva's wireframe templates, surprisingly easy to use.
Ive been testing some AI powered design stuff and some actually help generate wireframes based on your notes. Pretty wild tech!
For free tools, Pencil Project is worth a look if you want something open source and offline.
For those who want speed and automation, tools that use AI to generate layouts from simple descriptions might be the future.
Anyone else think Lucidchart is underrated for wireframes? I mostly use it for flowcharts but it works decently for basic wireframes too.
Sketch is pretty popular on Mac, but I switched to Adobe XD because I found it way easier to handle prototyping too.
Sometimes I just need a simple grid layout tool, nothing fancy. Anyone know lightweight options?
I feel like the best tool really depends on your workflow. Some swear by pen and paper, others need full prototyping suites.
What about web-based tools? I mostly work on different computers so I prefer stuff that runs in browser.
I like using UXPin because of its interactive elements, makes wireframes feel closer to real apps.
I keep going back to InVision for wireframe sharing with clients, the commenting feature is super handy.
Anyone here tried Balsamiq? I like how sketchy it looks, it forces you to focus on layout, not colors or fonts. Helps speed up early stages.
Ive been using a couple of apps for my wireframe projects but honestly, Figma has been a game changer for me. It's super smooth for collaboration too.
Sometimes I just sketch on paper then snap a pic and trace it digitally. Not fancy but keeps ideas flowing fast.
